“Jacqueline” (The Feminine Table) Shagreen (sting-ray skin) inlay with tamo surround and sides, bird’s eye maple legs and ash feet.
I was asked by Mr. John Fraser, chef / owner of Dovetail (www.dovetailnyc.com), the recently-expanded, three-star restaurant on Manhattan’s Upper West Side, to design and build three side tables. Architect for the expansion, Richard Bloch (www.richardblocharchitect.com) stipulated only the dimensions and basic stylistic time period into which the tables should fall.
